I am doing a PhotoBook review with Lulu and as part of the review, I got to create a photobook that they will print and send my way (I’ll let you know once the review is up so you can read it). Anyway – the photo book I did is for our Vow Renewal from last you and you can view the pages online here. Enjoy!

Hey guys – check this out! Dave was interviewed by another blogger recently and she posted it on her blog! He shares a bit more detail on the challenge he is running and how it is going so you might enjoy reading it to.
Dave made me a fantastic supper today and I know he’s planning to post about it on his blog later but I wanted to show off my favorite parts:)
Course #1: A Flower Salad
Cute right? The salad is in a half a red pepper with the petals made from slices of tomato. The stem is celery and the leaves are spinach.

Dessert: Raspberry parfait
Very yummy – the picture doesn’t do it justice. It was whip cream, raspberry preserves and ladyfingers in layers.
So good – just to small. I could have eaten a dozen. Shouldn’t – but coulda lol.
BASICS
Who is your man? Dave
How long have you been together? Next month will be 13 years from our first kiss
Dating/Engaged/Married? Married – 10 1/2 years
How old is your man? Lol OLD – VERY OLD. Almost 30 in fact.
In case you haven’t already seen it – Dave has taken up blogging. Yep, weird – I know. Over the holidays he got an idea to start an ingredient challenge. Basically, people suggest 3 random ingredients and he has to create a meal using those ingredients. He posts the recipes on his blog along with feedback on how they turned out.
We’ve had some amazing meals so far – and some not so amazing (Liver, black licorice and blue cheese? Really?) And – I haven’t cooked in weeks (without any complaints from him at all). I can eat liver once and a while if I need to lol.
Anyway – check it out – Dave’s Kitchen Revolution.

I love watching Dave building stuff. He is never as content and happy as he is when he is working with tools. This weekend, we had supper at Dave’s parents and Dave spent a little time helping Dad with a play house he is building for the kids. I LOVE these pictures!
Okay two clarifications before I start this post:
- no actual personal intimate details will be shared
- but, it is a little on the adult side none the less
So, you’ve been warned, lol.
If you read here often, you’ll have noticed a lot of baseball talk of late. Dave has always loved baseball but this year has been a little excessive. He has played in tournaments every weekend for the last 5 weeks, and has at least two games during the week as well. In the last tournament this past weekend, the balls they gave us were aweful. After a few good hits, they would turn mushy and off shaped. We also had a bat that broke. Oh and I played in this one to for a change. So that’s the background coming into this conversation on Sunday night.
Crystal: Man, I’m sore.
Dave (laughing at me); You had fun though right?
Crystal: Yeah, but I am glad there is only one left and then we have a few weekends free for once.
Dave: Didn’t I tell you about the one in August?
Crystal: Don’t you dare. I will kick you to the curb with your smooshy balls and broken bat.
SOOOOO – I TOTALLY didn’t mean it the way it came out sounding, lol. We had a good laugh though, and I felt like an idiot!
